It rides like a dream, with its tall steel frame and upright posture; plus it comes equipped with a comfortable Brooks B67s for a little extra suspension in the seat. 

They just build them differently in the Netherlands. This beauty has front and rear, hand operated roller brakes, which are practically maintenance free and keep your wheels clean from dirty brake pad grime. It features a NuVinci 360 stepless internal gear hub for effortless shifting and minimal upkeep. The wheels are special wide, double walled, black aluminum rims laced with 2.3mm stainless steel spokes, built tougher than anything you usually find in the states. 

The Omafiets has a Shimano Dynamo hub and B&M LED headlight and LED tail lights. The wiring is internally routed through the frame and rear fender to maintain the bike’s clean and elegant appearance.

Other Dutch features include a fully enclosed soft chain cover, keeping your drivetrain clean. A hatch on the rear makes the occasional lubrication and tension adjustment a breeze. Also included is a cafe wheel lock with plug chain adapter, making locking up simple and convenient. A sturdy 2-legged kickstand helps the bike stand securely upright, even when loaded up with two panniers full of groceries.
