Schwalbe Marathon Series
The standard tire on most Bromptons. It balances ride quality and puncture protection, making it the best option for everyday city riding. Faster and lighter than other Marathon models, though it wears quicker due to its softer compound.
Schwalbe Marathon Series
Uses a folding kevlar bead instead of wire so it can be packed in a saddle bag. Lightweight and portable, with the same performance as the standard Racer, but lighter due to the kevlar.
Schwalbe Marathon Series
The Standard Marathon: More durable and puncture-resistant than the Racer.
Schwalbe Marathon Series
Maximum puncture resistance, though the ride is stiffer. Roll over a thumbtack and not get a flat. Recommended for long-distance riding, heavy loads, or the Brompton Electric.
Schwalbe Marathon Series
A studded winter tire with a special compound for icy roads. Metal studs provide traction on ice at low pressures. At higher pressures, it rolls quieter on clear roads, so you can leave them on all season.
Originally designed for Brompton’s limited-edition Chpt3. Now available to everyone. It’s the fastest and grippiest Brompton tire, with low rolling resistance and excellent puncture protection. Wider than the Kojak, with minimal tread. Premium price, but excellent performance.
A slick, lightweight tire designed for speed.Available in a folding kevlar bead (packable) or a heavier, cheaper wire bead version. Less puncture resistant than Marathon tires, but the fastest option for when speed is the priority.
Continental Tires for Brompton
A lightweight, grippy tire that’s easier to install than the Marathon. Slightly less puncture-resistant but provides a more supple ride. Available in folding (lighter) and wire bead (cheaper) versions. A good balance for city riders who want comfort.

When the opportunity came I went to Clever to ask questions . The people were so kind and generous with their time and information. I was never pressured to buy. I left and continued to look at options. That next week I walked in and bought my bike from another great team member. The experience was wonderful...
